It's a short walk across the street but you get to see the river which is quite pretty. First of all, like others have said, the hotel is not connected to the casino. The Rivers is newer and upscale so we were not expecting much from the Paradise but we turned out to be wrong.
We visited the Paradise last weekend (02-28-17) for the first time and found it to be a great experience! We are from the Chicago area and normally play at the Rivers casino but had to come to Peoria for a baby shower and decided to go to the Paradise to spend the night.
